Spring Show Report - 16 th March 2024
 
We were delighted that our main sponsor, Robert Cooper Estate Agent, was able to join us at the Spring Show in March 2024. A team of four people from the office helped with the setup of the show at 8 am.
 
During the afternoon Robert Cooper Estate Agent’s founder and director, Steve Pursey and Steve’s wife, Marilyn, met with our President, Catherine Dann and were introduced to the Worshipful the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana.
 
The Spring Show was well supported, both in terms of exhibits and visitors. The weather is always a challenge for gardeners but the beautiful displays, particularly of daffodils, demonstrated that our members had managed the wet season very well.
 
It was lovely to see the young cubs and beavers taking part with their art work and flower arrangements. There were also some new exhibitors at this Show and I hope this trend continues throughout the year.
 
Thank you to all our volunteer helpers who make the Show possible and arrange such a super event for the community of Eastcote.
