The EHS Committee was pleased to see a hall full of colour for the Summer Show on Saturday 11 th June. The scent from the roses and the sweet peas was delightful.
 
There was an excellent set of entries from the young people including the Beavers. The bug hotels were very popular and will greatly benefit the local wildlife. To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee there was a children's class to make a crown and it was fun to see many of these being worn at the end of the afternoon.
 
The shows are an opportunity to catch up with friends over a cup of tea and homemade cake, whilst enjoying the exhibits. In addition to the flowers, fruit and vegetables there was an excellent set of photography entries, floral art and handicraft. Look forward to seeing everyone again at the Autumn Show on 10 th September.
