Coach Trip 2025

Coach Trip to Wakehurst Place  Saturday 10 th May 2025
The first coach trip of 2025 was to Wakehurst Place in Sussex. We had a beautiful day for the trip - the sun shone all day and it was warm enough to enjoy the views from the benches around the grounds or outside the cafes.
 
The nature reserve in the farthest corner has been closed for a couple of years and we were fortunate that it had reopened a few days prior to our visit. A few of us took advantage of the opportunity to visit the reserve.
 
With over 500 acres there is plenty of ground to explore in a day trip. The bluebells were still in flower in the wooded areas. The Walled Garden and the Mansion Pond had beautiful displays of colour.
