The Geraniales is an order of 4 families and around 840 species of dicotyledenous flowering herbs, shrubs and a few small trees, taking its name from the Geraniaceae (800 species of herbs). The scope of the Geraniales has been somewhat reduced in recent taxonomic revisions.

Many members of the Geraniales are cultivated for their horticultural merit or for the volatile aromatic oils contained in their leaves. A few species are considered medicinal or are traditional remedies.

The genera Pelargonium and Monsonia (Sarcocaulon) contain choice succulent and caudiciform species.
